What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site operator.
Cookies we use
LexDictate uses one cookie only:
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| session_token | Keeps you signed in to your account. Without this cookie the application cannot function. | Strictly necessary | 30 days, or until you sign out |
Do we use analytics or advertising cookies?
No. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. We do not share data with third-party advertisers.
Do we need your consent?
Under UK PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations), strictly necessary cookies — those essential for a service you have requested — do not require consent. Because our only cookie is required to keep you signed in, no cookie consent banner is needed.
How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that deleting or blocking the session_token cookie will sign you out and prevent you from signing back in until you allow it again.
